The Gold Hook comes from a deep passion for the sea, who loves him and respects him for more than 35 years, with the intent to teach the method of fishing techniques and knowledge of fish that populate this extraordinary source of factor life in our sea.
This is my personal desire brought me back to my roots in this wonderful island of Sardinia where I live for 18 years, and where I was able to refine the techniques of fishing from the boat but before practicing spear fishing.
The boat used for fishing trips is a wonderful Pursuit 2570 Offshore with twin engine Yamaha equipped with GPS Furuno Radar Echo, livewell Outriggers and macerator, with a cruising speed of 25 knots in order to achieve all our hot spot as soon as possible, starting from the port of The Cove Siniscola Ottiolu, Cala Gonone.
Our fishing area extends from Punta Timone (Tavolara) to Capo Bellavista (Santa Maria Navarrese). Facing the east coast, we reach points of passage of large pelagic fish, wrecks and lift where undermine snapper, amberjack or grouper respectable.
Gold Hook is very passionate about Deep Sea Fishing.
Sardinia is one of the best locations for Sportsfishing in the Mediterranean, as the many species of Billfish come right every year during the Billfish run from late February to early September, peaking between April and June.
Tunas, Dorado,Amberjacks,Swordfish all make their yearly run right on our front door.
GOLD HOOK has attended the 7th Sardinia Cup Fishing Ottiolu 2008 and finished first place.
